With South-East Queensland once again inundated with flooding waters across the bulk of Brisbane, the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, many homeowners will be feeling flattened as their personal spaces are adversely affected.
The sheer volume of rain across the past few weeks means many homes will be impacted by a rising water table, and subsequent water penetration through below ground areas of their dwelling.

There’s also added impact due to neighbouring properties changing the use of land spaces, including new property developments in previously unoccupied areas, which inadvertently then changes the overland flow of water to create potential inundation.
“Properties that may have never leaked before become vulnerable to rising waters underneath the property, revealing issues that didn’t exist before,” added Mr Stone.
“All you need is just one tiny defect, a pin-hole sized defect to your belowground waterproofing that can cause catastrophic failure.
