Dryspace Solutions was established to satisfy a clear need for specialists in the installation of new and rectification of failed concrete, brick and block basement and retaining wall waterproofing systems. With many years’ experience in repairs and rectifications of all types of waterproofing systems, it became obvious that there was a market requirement for professionals that could solve these types of problems. Our team have an outstanding track record, accumulated over 15 years of working in the industry, with leading Manufacturers.
There is currently no Australian Standard for the waterproofing of below and in-ground waterproofing structures, meaning there is no recourse for failed membrane systems, other than with the Manufacturer or Applicator. All too often the cause of failure of basement waterproofing systems in particular is due to applicator and installation error. This can create ongoing damage, unusable space and rectification bills into the thousands. We realised the need for dedicated training and certification to this area of structural waterproofing and have created Dryspace Solutions as a result. A company that is fully trained, and qualified in the waterproofing of below ground structures.
We offer solutions for wet and damp basement walls and floors, retaining walls, and zero boundary constructions. Our systems are “negative-side’ meaning they are installed from within the building, and are therefore not usually affected by weather, or the need for excessive preparation such as excavation.
With our Head Office based in South East Queensland, Dryspace Solutions travels Australia wide to install our guaranteed systems.
Our People
Company Director, Jamie Stone, was the first authorised Newton Systems Basement Contractor in Australia, having undertaken our first cavity drainage project in 2011 with outstanding success. Jamie has years of experience in negative side waterproofing solutions with a natural aptitude to ‘think outside the box’ and deliver custom designed, guaranteed solutions. In 2019 Jamie returned to the United Kingdom to undertake his CSSW – Certificated Structural Surveyor of Waterproofing. This is a qualification designed and trained by the Property Care Association in Australia, and deals primarily with the waterproofing of underground and in-ground structures.
